"Sue is very inspirational – there is a way to be a parent and look forward to the challenges of the day ahead! "  Emma Golden, Mum, Oldham

Welcome!

I developed Happy Kids Happy You to share what works in good communication with other parents: how to use our words, actions and thinking to get great results with the children we care for and build mutual respect, confidence and happiness in our relationships with them.

As the name suggests, Happy Kids Happy You places equal importance on us as parents, meeting our needs alongside those of our children: we’re much more likely to respond positively to the everyday challenges of family life if we’re taking care of ourselves and feeling good!

Sharing

Sharing what works is fundamental to Happy Kids Happy You:

We’ve all got something that’s already working well for us, however insignificant it may seem. Celebrating and sharing this with others has two fantastic benefits:

- You get to feel good about what’s working for you – hurrah! Well done! How often as parents do we get to feel bad about what’s not working?!

- You’re adding to the pool of resources that other parents can be informed and inspired by. Chances are, if it works for you, someone else can benefit too.

Join the Happy Kids Happy You Club to contribute and celebrate!

Pick up tips, build your resourcefulness and feel comforted, reassured, and inspired by how others just like you are making sense and success of family life.

Enjoy!SueBx
